Nelia Sardinas, a loving mother, aunt, and cousin, passed away peacefully on December 12, 2018, under the tender care of VITAS Healthcare. 

Nelia was born on September 27, 1927, in Havana, Cuba, to the late Jose and Rosa (Osorio) Sardinas. She was a dedicated teacher who loved her students like if they were her own. She was smart, loving, and above all kind, she would do anything for anyone who needed her help. 

She is survived by her loving daughter, Nelia Izquierdo; 1 grandchild; 2 great-grandchildren; and her dear niece Aurora Tosar. Pre-deceased by her sister, Margarita Sardinas. 

Urn Committal Service took place on Saturday, December 29, 2018, 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
