Stella Lotti lived to see her 100 birthday, which seemed to be her goal. Throughout her long life she was a kind and generous and woman with great strength. Born to Lithuanian immigrants, she was brought up in Detroit, Michigan. Graduating high school at the age of 16, she immediately began working. While working with the U.S. Marshall’s Office, she met her future husband Gene Lotti and married. The couple had two children, Gene and Diane. They eventually moved to Hollywood, Florida where Gene was an owner and trainer of Thoroughbred Race Horses.
Stella was a devoted wife and mother. She was involved with all activities of her children; PTA Officer, Girl Scout Leader, Chaperone, cookie baker, or whatever needed to be done. Also, an excellent seamstress she was, as Stella made all her own cloths.
Gene began building apartment buildings and Stella became a landlord and bookkeeper. Her greatest role and joy was when she finally became a Grandmother at the age of 72.
Stella and Gene began taking cruises in the 1960’s and that soon became one of her most treasured activities as long as she was able.
It is with great sadness that her loving family bids her farewell, but with great joy that she lived such a life filled with blessings and strengths.
There will be a visitation Tuesday, April 16th at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care from 11:00 to 1:00 PM with a Tributes of a Lifetime Service at 12:00 PM. Following by an entombment at Forest Lawn South Cemetery in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
