Anna P. (Pauk) Brown, age 92, of Sunrise, formerly a long-time resident of Miami passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, May 14, 2019.
Anna was born on August 10, 1926 in Czechoslovakia, to the late Vasil Pauk and Anna Dankanich.
Anna was a dedicated and hard worker who did anything she could to maintain her family. She was a devoted and loving mother. She was very proud of her family and was excited to become a “Grammy” to her 3 grandchildren. She loved holidays and family get-togethers; any chance to spend time with her family was important to her. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
Anna was preceded in death by her daughter, Marcia Christy. She will be lovingly remembered by her 3 grandchildren, Emilie (Matthew) Wallace, Aisha Shafi, and Umar Shafi. She will also be remembered by her 2 great-grandchildren.
Family and friends will gather at the Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, University Drive, on Saturday, May 18th from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Tributes of a Lifetime Service will begin at 12:00 p.m., immediately followed by Interment at Hollywood Memorial Gardens Cemetery (north).

Grams was a lovely lady with a huge heart. I love hearing all the stories you tell about her. She will always be with you guys. When butterflies fly angels are near. Aisha you were her angel and now she is yours. Love you
