In his early years, Warner attended the Mandeville Primary School.  He later attended West Indies Training College, where he obtained his electrical knowledge. He later went on to work for the Alcan Bauxite Company for years.

On December 20, 1958, Warner married Pamela Elliott.  They were blessed to have five children. The eldest and their only daughter, Anna Marie.  Their four sons, Robert, Anthony, Warner Jr. and Andrew.

In the late 60s, Warner moved to the United States and resided in Brooklyn, New York and later Queens, New York.  During this time, he worked at Beth Israel Hospital for many years employed as an electrician in the engineering department.  He was talented and dedicated to his career.  He worked his way up to management and headed up the electrical department.

Warner retired at the age of 70. He purchased a beautiful home in Tampa, Florida, where he resided with his wife Pamela.  In Tampa, they enjoyed living near their sons Anthony and the late Warner Jr.  During his early retirement, Warner kept busy with home projects and he took pride in gardening and caring for his yard. Some things he enjoyed were taking walks, trips to Home Depot, chatting with neighbors and anyone he could strike up a conversation with.

After his health began to fail, Warner was relocated to Atlanta to be near his son Andrew, who remained devoted and attentive to his father’s care until he passed away.  Warner spent his final days being cared for by his wife Pamela and he passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones.

Warner is survived by his wife Pamela, his four remaining children, Anna Marie, Robert, Anthony, Andrew, his many grandchildren and great grandchildren. His brother Roy, his nieces and nephews, and a host of other loving relatives and friends.  Warner has gone home to glory. He will be greatly missed by all whom he knew throughout his life.  His memory will be forever cherished.

I’ll always remember Uncle Bunny in the prime of life, joking, smiling always with a hug, words of encouragement and a $20 bill for his nieces and nephews! I recall one trip years ago when I was traveling to London and had a long stop over in NYC. Uncle Bunny came to the airport, picked me up and took me for a lovely Chinese dinner! He told me so many stories about growing up with my dad, Auntie Gloria and Uncle Jack. He was a lovely man and will be deeply missed by all of us. I’m sending my love and prayers to Auntie Pam, Drew and all of my cousins and extended family who are saddened right now. xo
