Walter T. Hynes, Jr, age 80, of Tavernier, Florida, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Tuesday, April 23, 2019, at Seasons Hospice in Hollywood. 

Walter was born on May 5, 1938, in Boston, Massachusetts. He was the older of two sons born to Walter and Margaret (Tobin) Hynes. 

After graduating high school he enlisted in the Armed Forces and proudly served this country in the U.S. Air Force. He was an avid fisher, he loved anything that had to do with the ocean and of course fishing. 

His memory will always be cherished by his brother, Robert (Mary Ann) Hynes and his nephew, Robert Hynes.
