BROWARD — Flor Romero de Serna, a long-time resident of the Pembroke Pines area, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Saturday, February 9, 2019. 

Born in 1941 in Cali, Colombia, to the late Pascual and Evangelina (Romero) Camacho.  Flor married the love of her life, Jaime, they shared 61 wonderful years together raising their beautiful family.  She loved good food, enjoyed spending quality time with her family, and had a wonderful smile that could light up a room.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Jaime Serna; her loving children, Jaime Arturo Serna and Diana (Pedro) Houed; and her granddaughter, Diana Maria Houed, who was the light of her eyes.  

Visitation will take place on Saturday, February 16th, from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. with Tribute of a Lifetime Service at 5:00 p.m. at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, Hollywood Boulevard Chapel.
