Sybil Victoria Elizabeth 93, of Miramar, Florida passed away suddenly on November 21st, 2019.
She was born May 17th, 1926 in Spanish Town, Jamaica to Reginal Samuels and Tilda Henry and moved to South Florida in 1972. After living in the United States for a while, Sybil received her real estate license and worked for Gilbert Realty in Miami. In 1982 she opened her own real estate office “Sybil Todd Realty” and worked there until her retirement.
Besides her great love for her family, she had a passion for gardening, a strong faith, and was an active member of her church where she was a part of the prayer team where she often ministered to others in their time of need. She had a burning desire for all her family members to have faith in Jesus Christ.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 54 years, Percival Todd.
Sybil is survived by her 5 children, son Richard Todd and his wife Bobbette, daughter Elizabeth Dawkins and her husband Sylvester, daughter Patricia Goldsmith, Melanie Davis, son Phillip Todd and his wife Lynn, along with being predeceased by her husband Percival Rollins Todd; her brothers Donald Samuels and Reginald Samuels. Additionally, Sybil was blessed with 10 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
A Public Visitation will take place on Tuesday, December 3rd, 2019 from 6:00 – 9:00 pm at the Boyd-Panciera Pembroke Pines Chapel located at 1600 North University Drive, Pembroke Pines, Florida 33024, which will include a “Tributes of a Lifetime” ceremony beginning at 7:00 pm.
A Funeral Mass is scheduled for Wednesday, December 4th, 2019 beginning at 10:00 am at The Cathedral Church of the Resurrection, Episcopalian Church located at 6701 SW 25th Street, Miramar, Florida 33023, followed by an interment at Hollywood Memorial Gardens North.

I knew Sybil and Percival in Miami. I worked at American Bankers with Sybil. A wonderful couple! I invited them to my wedding in 1974. I still have their gift.
