COUPET, Patrick G., of Hollywood passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at work seated at his desk in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.

Patrick was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, on December 28, 1951, to Mona Jannini and Georges Coupet. He was the oldest of three siblings, Robert Coupet and Magali Coupet. Growing up in Queens Village, New York, he attended Jamaica High School Making many friends and leaving a trail of memories when he moved to Florida with Marie-Claude (Claudia) Coupet, his first wife of 28 years and their two sons Patrick and Philip. While fully enjoying his family, he lived a quality lifestyle filled with fun, laughter and good friends.  He was dedicated to his work at Universal Language Services where he was part owner and enjoyed his relationship with his business partner Ed Mangones.  He appreciated his excellent relationship  with his co workers, clients, and interpreters. 

Patrick was loved by everyone and respected by many who knew him.  His sense of humor was contagious and he loved to share jokes.  Patrick was very giving, kind and a gentleman who kept in touch with almost everyone he knew.  He will be greatly missed.

He was a doting father, loving brother, devoted cousin, affectionate uncle and a true best friend.  He deeply loved his grandchildren. His loving memory will forever be in our hearts.

Patrick is survived by his sons, Patrick Jr, Philip, their mother Marie-Claude (Claudia) Coupet; Grandson, Micah; granddaughter, Kaiya and from his second marriage, sons Keanu, Dante, Alek, and their mother Myrna Lallemand; brother, Robert Coupet; sister Magaly Coupet and sister in law, Francoise Coupet.

Patrick leaves a great void in many lives of those who were blessed to have known him. He has been conscious of his Catholic faith and became an Emmaus Brother, which brought him closer to God, an experience that made a tremendous impact toward the end of his life.  He will be a constant reminder of what life is truly about; family, friends and good times all held together in the spirit of LOVE.
