Alamelu Krishna, 97 years of age, died peacefully in her home in Davie on Sunday, March 31, 2019, after a short illness. 

Mrs. Krishna was born on February 8, 1922, in India, to Harihara Iyer and Seetha Surya Narayanan. She gained her high school diploma in India. A short time after she met and married Krishna, who was the love of her life. They had four children, Sankara, Seetha, Jaya, and Meena. 

After her husband passed away in 1975, Mrs. Krishna decided to send her children to the United Sates for better education opportunities. She reunited with her children in 1983. She then stayed permanently in south Florida with her family. She enjoyed good music, loved to sing, knitting was her hobby but she mainly loved to poured her heart out when making her delicious meals. 

She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Sankara Narayanan; daughters, Seetha Sankar, Jaya Narayanaswamy, Meena Krishnan and numerous grandchildren. 

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, April 3rd, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, University Drive Chapel. Funeral Service will be on Thursday, April 4th, 7:00 a.m. also at the funeral home.
