Parviz Kavoosi, 83, of Dania Beach, passed away on January 28, 2017. Born on February 22, 1933, in Kerman, Iran to the late Rostam and Gohar Kavoosi. He came to USA in late 1978, after retiring from Iranian National Oil & Gas Company where he had worked for thirty years starting as an apprentice in his youth. In 1979 he ventured into his second phase of career as a business man for the next eighteen years where he started three different businesses from ground zero, a Gift Shop in Raleigh, NC, a Day Care Center in Silver Spring and a Print Shop in Chevy Chase, MD. He finally retired (again) in 1996 and moved back to North Carolina where he was an active member of the Iranian community, loved and respected. In 2011 he moved to Florida to be close to his younger son Farzin, where he lived until his final days. He is survived by his loving children Vida, Farzad and Farzin. Tributes of a lifetime Service will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2017, 2:00 p.m. at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral care, University Drive Chapel.
