Lovelady, Dorothy L., 96, of Gainesville, passed away Saturday, December 23, 2017, at The Village Assisted Living Facility. She was born on February 24, 1921, in Cordova, Alabama, to the late George and Alta Lou Phillips. She proudly served in the US Army as part of the Women’s Army Auxiliary Corps, she then, accomplished her Associate’s Degree and had a successful career as an Assistant Vice-President in the Banking Industry. Dorothy is survived by her son, Philip Lovelady. A graveside service was held on Thursday, December 28, 2017, at Woodlawn Park Cemetery south. Arrangements were handled by Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, Hollywood Boulevard Chapel.
