H. “Ross” Wyss, of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida passed away at home, the morning of June 27th, 2020. He was 88 years of age. He was born March 10th 1932 to Herbert Christian Wyss and Beulah Mae Milburn Wyss in Marengo, Iowa. He grew up in Grinnell, Iowa and helped his parents with their produce and egg business. He was blessed with the gift of a magnificent voice and sang all across the country in churches and gatherings with The Assembly of God’s national “Send The Light” quartet. He continued to bless many over the years with his sacred melodies. Ross was a follower of Christ and lived his life full of faith. He married Margaret Ann Bell in 1956 and raised four children, Deborah Jean Wrage (Matthew) of San Antonio, Texas, David Kent Wyss who preceded Ross in Death, Rebekah Dawn Burnett (Conrad Kunz) of Boerne, TX, and Beth Wyss-Krackenberger (Michael) of Plano, TX.

As an avid car buff, he had a picture of every car he owned…and there were many! He liked to water ski and to go boating but couldn’t swim. Ross enjoyed a gorgeous piece of beef and a value conscious buffet.

In 1976 Ross met the love his life, his partner and husband, Laurence Chamberlin. They moved to Florida in 1988 and were married in 2015. They lived a life of genuine love and service to God and others in the south Florida area for 32 years. Ross and Larry owned their own insurance business in Hallandale Beach and also provided financing to many people. They are members of the Body of Christ Church.

He is survived by his husband, Larry, his three daughters, sister Carmen Schooley, of Indianola, Iowa, brother Darrell Wyss of Daytona, FL, his grandchildren, Alex, Bri, Joey, Talia, Dalton, Jenna and Riley.
And Great grandchildren Liana, Walter and Daphne.
He will be greatly missed by many
