Marlene Cabarcas de Roca, age 81, a long time resident of Hallandale Beach, passed away suddenly on July 25, 2020.

Marlene was born on August 12, 1938, in Sincelejo, Colombia to the late Arturo Cabarcas and Manuel Gomez. This is where she also met the love of her life and her husband of 64 years, Luis. After teaching in Colombia and wanting to provide a better lifestyle for their family, Marlene and Luis relocated to south Florida, where they raised their two children.

She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who did anything and everything for her family. She will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Luis Enrique Roca; son, Enrique Roca, daughter, Esperanza Roca; grandsons, Pablo Roca, David Araujo and Camilo Roca; and nephew, Alan Cabarcas.

Visitation will take place on Saturday, August 8th from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM with Funeral Service at 12:00 PM at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, Hollywood Boulevard Chapel.
