Brien, Joy Rae 84, of Hollywood passed away peacefully at her home on August 15 ,2020 surrounded by her loving family. She was born September 7, 1935 in Greenwich, Connecticut to Frank Doran and Jean (Reid) Doran . She was married Norbert Brien on November 17, 1956 and he passed away in 2005 representing 50 years of marriage.

Joy and her husband moved to South Florida in 1962. She dedicated her life to her Nursing profession and always put others first. When she was not caring for others, she was spending her time at the casino and loved to fish.  She was a dedicated wife, a loving mother and grandmother.

She is survived by sons, Keith, Norman, Robert and Thomas Brien and daughter Brenda Michaels.  Joy has four Grandchildren and two Greatgrandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister Mary McEneany
