Elva Rodriguez Sanchez, also known as Elva Sanchez Canelo de Rodriguez, age 87, of Pembroke Pines, Florida, passed away on November 19, 2020. She was born in Cañete, Peru on August 28, 1933 to the late Luis Sanchez and Maximina Canelo.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Ruben Rodriguez Tapia and her daughter: Marina Papas Tong.
Elva is survived by her children: Isabel Godinez, Maria Kong, Ruben Rodriguez, Ofelia Gonzalez, Jorge Rodriguez and Milagros Rodriguez; 16 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation to be held on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 from 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, 1600 N. University Drive, Pembroke Pines, Florida 33024.

Mass to be held on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at 12:30 PM at St. John XXIII Catholic Church, 16800 Miramar Parkway, Miramar, Florida 33027. Followed by graveside service at 2:30 PM at Hollywood Memorial Gardens North, 3001 N. 72nd Avenue, Hollywood, Florida 33024.
