With heavy hearts, we announce that after a 15-month battle against cancer, Colette E. Boisvert of Davie, FL peacefully passed away on December 19, 2020 at the age of 57.
Colette was a native Floridian born in the city of Hollywood on January 4, 1963 to Normand and Martha Boisvert who predeceased her. She grew up surrounded by a loving family and was an amazing sister, aunt, and friend. Colette graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas High School in 1981 then attended St. Thomas of Villanova University where she earned a degree in Finance. After a long successful career in Human Resources, she persevered through many challenges, in order to dedicate her time and talent to various ministries in our South Florida community such as serving the poor at St. Vincent de Paul Society, working at Respect Life Ministry, and being a devoted parishioner of St. Bernadette Catholic Church.
Her happiest times were spent with her beloved family and friends. Her life was marked by a strong faith, loyalty to family and friends, “sassy” sense of humor, love of music, and a compassionate nature. Her adventurous personality also took her traveling, scuba diving, white water rafting, and even skydiving…once! Colette was truly a beautiful and spiritual soul that left everyone she touched better off for the encounter. She personified the image of Christ as servant to all and trusted in God’s Providence for every aspect of her life.
Although she was taken too soon, she will always be remembered in the hearts of those who loved her. Colette is survived by her sister Michele Quigley, brothers Norman Boisvert, Michael Boisvert and his wife Julie, along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
There will be a funeral mass on Monday, December 28, 2020, 11am, at Saint Bernadette Catholic Church located 7450 Stirling Road, Hollywood, FL 33024.
The family requests those who wish to express their sympathy to consider making a donation to Memorial Cancer Institute in lieu of flowers. Donations can be made online at https://www.mhs.net/about/foundation/give (option to choose the Cancer Institute from drop down menu) or by calling the Memorial Foundation at 954-265-3454.

Colette, the friend who taught my youngest daughter to cross the street safely. And to stick out her tongue at her mother instead of yelling at her. God was waiting for you with open arms. You will be missed.

Precious Colette. You were like a daughter to me when you and my boys were just little tikes. You grew up to be a caring, determined, successful, strong-spirited young lady with a sassy sense of humor. The last few times we talked over the phone you inspired and encouraged me when I thought I called to encourage you. You were determined to fight until the end, and you did just that! Your strong faith and courage touched my heart and inspired me to always look to God to get me through the tough times. You never complained, but always searched for the silver lining in your challenges. It brings me such peace to envision you in the presence of God! You will be greatly missed, but your legacy lives on. You are loved!

Thank you for being a friend
Traveled down a road and back again
Your heart is true, you’re a pal and a confidant
And if you threw a party
Invited everyone you knew
Well, you would see the biggest gift would be from me
And the card attached would say
Thank you for being a friend

Our heartfelt condolence to the family of Colette. WE found out only today by going online of her passing. May her soul rest in peace. Both Colette and her dad Normand were our benefactors. We will be offering a special Mass for the repose of their souls in May. Know of our prayers for strength and consolation for her family.

High-School reunions make us Google-away
Searching for pals and acquaintances found along our way
I was lucky to be friends with Colette long before STA
Back at Nativity when that was our way
I cry now in sorrow of the loss of my friend
But I know Colette is with Jesus and his love never ends
Au Revoir mon amis
