Maria Mantuano, age 65, of Weston, Florida, passed away February 14, 2021. She was born in Manta, Ecuador on February 27, 1955.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Jose Mantuano and Angela Anchundia and siblings: Piedad Mantuano, Maximo Mantuano, Jose Mantuano and Teresa Mantuano and her husband: Carlos Hualpa.

Maria is survived by her children: Lenny Palacios, Carlos Palacios (Silvia Cruz), Carlos Hualpa (Doris Tuarez), Christopher Hualpa (Joanna San Martin) and Coraima Mantuano; grandchildren: Carla, Daniel, Jancarlo, Andrea, Gianluca, Camila, Sofia and Elena and siblings: Josefa Mantuano, Carmen Castillo (Carlos Castillo), Manuel Mantuano (Jenny Mantuano) and Flor Maria Mantuano (David Arteaga).

Mass to be held at 11:00 AM on Friday,  February 19, 2021 at St. Boniface Catholic Church, 8330 Johnson Street, Pembroke Pines, Florida 33024.

Services entrusted to: Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, 1600 N. University Drive, Pembroke Pines, Florida 33024.

Queridos primos, Carlos Alberto, Lenny, Mito, Christopher, y de manera muy especial Coraima;

Reciban mis mas sentidas condolencias por la ausencia terrenal de quien para ustedes fue y seguirá siendo lo mejor que Dios les regaló en vida, sobra decir las cualidades de ella como persona, hija, hermana, madre, tía y amiga incondicional. Es muy triste aceptar la voluntad de Dios, el propósito o la tarea que tuvo la cumplió excelente, tratando de guiar, educar a cada uno de ustedes como hombres y mujeres de bien: Que el todo poderoso les ayude a soportar esta irreparable pérdida pero recuerden que a ustedes los hermanos mayores les dejará a que sigan emocionalmente apoyando a Coraima.

Abrazos, queridos primos y fortaleza para intentar recuperarse de esta tristeza…
