Marie Louise Lathero, age 78, of Miramar, Florida, passed away on February 25, 2021. She was a very patriotic Cuban-American, born in New York, New York on June 27, 1942 to the late Ernesto and Raquel Otero.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Thomas Lathero; son: Thomas Lathero, Jr. and brother: Ernesto Otero.
Marie is survived by her daughter: Sharon L. (Scott) Hill; grandchildren: Danyel (Micah) Hill, Bradley Hill and Jordyn Hill; brother: Roberto Otero and cousins: Leyda Lazaga, Celsy Casalta, Nourys Lazaga, Mayra Lazaga and Nancy Lazaga.
Mass to be held on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at 11:00 AM at St. Edward Catholic Church, 19000 Pines Boulevard, Pembroke Pines, Florida 33029, followed by graveside services at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery, 11411 NW 25th Street, Doral, Florida 33172.
Services entrusted to: Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, 1600 N. UniversityDrive, Pembroke Pines, Florida 33024.

Marie/Abi was one of a kind. I only knew her for short time—wish it was much longer! Effervescent. Welcoming. Loving. Spunky. Confident. Kind. Active. Involved. Gracious. Loved her Family soooo much. With Jesus as her Savior she is rejoicing. And that gives comfort to those who loved her so much. ❤️
