Alberto “Tito” Vassallo, age 69, of Durham, North Carolina passed away March 5, 2021. He was born in Lima, Peru on March 26, 1951.

He was preceded in death by his father: Rodolfo Vassallo and his sister: Gladys Vassallo.

Tito is survived by his wife of 41 years: Elva Mercedes Vassallo; children: Giancarlo Vassallo, Matilde “Matita” Vassallo, Elva Paola Fazio (Nicholas Fazio), Kevin Vassallo and Meilyn Vassallo (Sakkada Khun); grandchildren: Angelo Dominkovics, Anna Dominkovics, Matthew Vassallo, Caleb Fazio and Luca Alberto Fazio; mother: Matilde Vassallo; sisters: Victoria Alicea-Vassallo, Dora Vassallo, Susana Vassallo, Maritza Vassallo-Perez and Pilar Gallardo-Vassallo and brothers: Rodolfo “Rudy” Vassallo and Alejandro “Jano” Vassallo.

Visitation to be held on Saturday, March 13, 2021 from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM, with Service at 4:00 PM at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, 1600 N. University Drive, Pembroke Pines, Florida 33024.

In lieu of flowers, Tito’s family is requesting donations to be made in his name to the American Heart Association at www.heart.org or to the charity of your choice.
