Edith Lafontant, age 95, of Pembroke Pines, Florida, passed away on May 31, 2021. She was born on December 21, 1925 in Port au Prince, Haiti to the late Edgard Blanc and Fernande Giraud.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of over 50 years, Dr. Raymond Lafontant.
Edith is survived by her sons, Reginald and Dr. Gilbert Lafontant, her daughters-in-law, Myriam Lafontant and Rachel Lafontant, her grandchildren Dereck, Jennifer, Alec, Kyle and Dana Lafontant, her sister Marie Jose Denis, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was a kind, loving compassionate person who always saw the good in everyone. Edith will be forever missed by her family and friends.
A Public Visitation will be held on Friday, June 4, 2021 from 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, 6400 Hollywood Boulevard, Hollywood Florida 33024

C’est avec beaucoup d’émotion et de nostalgie que je viens de voir le diaporama que vous avez fait a la mémoire d’Edith et c’est une bonne partie de mon enfance qui est remontée a la surface.
Que de bons souvenirs et que de bons moments passés ensemble…
Il n’est jamais facile de perdre sa maman (sa grand maman) quelque soit l’âge . Edith gardera toujours un place spéciale dans nos cœurs.
