I saw you in Chicago at Tomiwa’s wedding 2 years ago I never knew that would be the last time. You were a very selfless person who put others before yourself even till you took your last breath. You never bothered anyone. I take solace in knowing that you passed away peacefully without pain. May God grant you eternal rest and protect the ones you left behind my gentle brother

David, my work buddy was such a hardworking, kind, caring, and humble soul. David had a laugh that was contagious and it will be greatly missed. He was a person that truly cared about making a difference in the people he cared for. David, one of my closest colleagues I truly appreciated your support and inspiration in me becoming a licensed therapist. I will forever cherish our memories of laughter at work and conversations about music, our cultures, politics, and family. My deepest sympathies goes out to your family . May God give you all light and strength throughout this difficult time . May your soul rest in eternal peace David. Your presence at The Pavilion will be truly missed.
-Sincerely,
Chyvonne, your colleague

Life is difficult, if not why did our brother, father died?
But alas! he is resting in God’s blossom and what is next now is good love, care, friendship amongst the families. To love each other, ask about each more often. Call each other more often.
I remember when he drove Titi to Washington DC for her Doctorate degree. That was a distance but he was, is a great Dad that will do anything for his children.
I remember him again when we met at Titi’s wedding. Such a great dude, great brother in law to me, kool, reserved, quiet.
My last conversation with him was forcing with him few weeks ago that he doesn’t pick my calls always when I call him. I love talking to him whenever he picks up the fone but I know my wife Shade Olushola Oyekoya (Sode) his sister missed talking to him a lot.
Actually my real frustration (confession time now) was him not talking to my wife enough.
Such a gentleman to the core.
To Tinu, Titi, Tobi and Alexi……a great word of wisdom, hold each other tight and close knitted like never before. God will protect you all. From my family and I, we love you all.

“Words will not wipe away your tears
And hugs may not ease the pain
But hold onto your memories
Because forever they will remain”
End quote
Never a dull moment whenever we met
at the job. David always saying “you are not on another break .“ and I always tell him he was leaving too early as I still have 2-3 hours left… and that was one of the last words we exchange.
You will be surely missed
May your Soul rest in Eternal Peace
