Doreen Thelma Angol was born April 10, 1944 and passed away on June 16, 2021, at the age of 77. Doreen was born in St George’s, Grenada to the parents of Drucilla Worme and Thomas Peterson. Doreen enjoyed a beautiful childhood in Grenada and in her twenties she migrated to St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands, where she lived for several years. In1980, she migrated to Miami, Florida. Doreen loved helping people and devoted her life’s work to helping others. She worked as a Nurse’s Aide for almost 20 years until she retired. She was Jehovah Witness by faith and enjoyed ministering to people about Jehovah God. She spent a lot of her free time helping the needy and the sick.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, daughter, Carol Peterson-Tilford, son-in-law Gregory Tilford, son, Alister (Ricky) Peterson, one grandson, Marlon Thomas, and great-granddaughter, Mariah Thomas.

She is survived by her two brothers McLeish (Ted) Phillip, sister-in-law Ruby Phillip, Lennox Peterson, sister-in-law Mary Peterson and, sister Ursula Gabriel, Several nieces and nephews, many relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her sisters Olga, Joyce, Irma and Eudine.

She was devoted to her family. She will be greatly missed.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, July 3, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM with Tributes of a Lifetime at 12 Noon at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, 6400 Hollywood Boulevard, Hollywood, Florida 33024.
