William Joseph Gehring, Sr, 100, passed away on September 3rd surrounded by loved ones. Bill was born December 26, 1920 to George and Anna Gehring.  

He married the love of his life, Dorothy (Brown) Gehring on May 7, 1949. Going on to have 4  children, Billy, Glen, Peggy and Louis. Bill and Dot moved to Miami in 1953. He enjoyed spending time with his family while fishing, camping and being outdoors. 

He was a volunteer fire fighter in Tallman, New York after serving in the Army during World  War II. He retired from Ryder Truck Leasing in 1982 as the Service Manager.  

Bill is predeceased by his son Glen, Jan 2020.  

He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Dot; children, Billy (Donna), Peggy and Louis; his 14  grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 1 expected great great grandchild.

Visitation to be held on Saturday, September 11, 2021 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM, Tributes of a Lifetime service at 3:00 PM at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, 1600 N. University Drive, Pembroke Pines, Florida 33024.
