Ronald “Ronnie” Morla, 50, passed away peacefully on September 9, 2021, at Miramar Hospital West in Pembroke Pines, Florida. He was born on October 3, 1970, in Miami, Florida. Ronnie is succeeded by the love of his life and devoted wife Heidi De Armas, his only child, who he loved and was so proud of, Ronnie Morla, and his stepson, who he saw as his own son, Darries Rodriguez. He is a beloved son to Nilsa Morla and Ramon Morla (preceded in death) and brother to Ramon, Richard (preceded in death), Randy, Robbie, Roy, and Ralph Morla. Ronnie was loved by many individuals and held incredible pride in all the roles he took on in his life, whether it was an uncle to his many nephews and nieces, a friend to many that saw him as family, and a new godfather to a beautiful little girl, Hazel.
Ronnie had many passions in this lifetime that he enjoyed with all his loved ones. These passions include boating, racing his red Mustang, and having movie nights with his family. These passions would take him to many places around the world, but his heart was always at Elliot Key surrounded by the people he loved and a Bud Light in his hand. He was very proud of the work in his life, as he used his creative skills and knowledge to build many things and made sure to pass that knowledge to the future generations that followed. Ronnie was a very simple man, a prideful man, a family man, but he wants to be remembered most as a man who would do everything for the people he cared for.
