Colton was born in St. Louis, Missouri December 9, 1976 to proud parents Darlene and Dennis Sanders. The Sanders later divorced which led to Darlene and Colton relocating to Miami, Florida in 1981, where they continue to reside.

Colton attended Cooper City High School and later Valencia College. His work life has always revolved around restaurants and eventually lead him into management. His last management position was with FirstWatch.
