Brother…from day one, all we did was fight, as brothers do.
NOW ALL I DO IS FIGHT BACK MY TEARS. I wanted to be just like you, my big brother. Now I sit here wondering what to do, because there’s no one to replace you.
I never did tell you all the things I felt, like how much I really did love you. I wish we could go back and start over again, and say the things I now want to say.
It’s sad that you left without saying goodbye and I am sad I cannot be there to say goodbye, but just remember, we all love you no matter how long it’s been since your life came to an end. We will see each other in Paradise.

TO A FAITHFUL UNCLE – UNCLE KENRICK
This Tribute is being offered on behalf of the children of his elder sister, Mrs. Hazel Leiba (now long deceased); we are Beverley Williamson (Bev); Frank Leiba (Frankie); Michael Leiba (Mickie) and Arnella Clarke (Nella).
We have had a long relationship with Uncle Kenrick, Aunt Dellie, our cousins Janet, Kennie, Mark and Sharon dating back many many years. Our mother was committed to Uncle Kenrick and he to her; but the depth of his commitment was to become apparent when, years after she had passed, HE WAS THERE FOR US WHEN WE MOST NEEDED HIM!
We are therefore extremely saddened by uncle’s passing and feel the full weight of adulthood as our dependable Patriarch transitions to take his rest.
TO: Aunt Dellie, Janet, Kennie, Mark and Sharon and their respective families, his brother Basil, his sisters Marion, Masie, Fay and Kaye, his in-laws and many friends, we say SINCERE CONDOLENCES! We can truly say we understand and appreciate your sense of loss, having ourselves lost both our parents.
However, mourn as you must but also celebrate his long life and the many memories along the way.
In concluding, we remind the family and ourselves of the promise in JOHN 16:22:

To the Roberts Family. So many GOOD years of Roberts & Chambers on so many levels. We have been together from…Primary school days… to…in-laws.

We too lost a Family member on March 23rd.

Daddy. Give trouble when you want but the biggest heart & bwoy you could make me LOL with that quick wit & sense of humor!

When that day comes…l know you will be in the front pew in your JoS A. Bank’s suit with a smile & a wink (our inside joke). Thanks for being a blessing in our lives.

Of my 74 years on this earth, you have been a part of my memories for 60 odd:

From when I was a little girl anxiously waiting to hear your truck coming home when you would downshift gears to let us know it was you, to when you and I drove around making preparations for Mama’s funeral. I will always remember after Mama’s funeral when everyone left and I was frozen in place, just standing there, you came for me and said these unforgettable words: “she waited for you to grow up and start your own family so you would not be alone – let her rest now, Joy”. Today I repeat your words to Janette, Kenny, Mark, Sharon and Ms. Delly. He stayed with us for a long time, guiding and supporting us, so let him rest now.

As for me I say, I am grateful to you for being my great big brother. Soar Brother Kenrick, and live again!

This is a tribute to the Patriarch of our family, Kenrick Alexander Roberts.
As I read the many heartfelt tributes being expressed here, I can only say, Uncle Kenrick you are a great man of family and friends. You have guided, helped, loved and protected your family. My father, your brother, Basil Lincoln Roberts has now taken the role of the Patriarch of our great family and will carry on in your memory.
As I saw the tears in his eyes as he talked of his very fond memories with you, I know he feels a great pain to lose his brother. I will share my first thoughts when I heard of your passing:
(John 3:16) “For God loved the world so much that He gave His only begotten Son so that everyone exercising faith in Him might not be destroyed but have everlasting life”
You will “have everlasting life” and you will be united with your Mother and Father, your siblings and other family members whom have passed before you and with a great hope to be reunited with all your family.
Aunt Delly, Janet, Sharon, Kenny and Mark, I hope and pray you will feel comfort in knowing your husband and father is in a good place.
