Irene Joan Smith, age 88 of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, passed away on April 29, 2022. She was born in Hazelton, Pennsylvania on January 28, 1934 to the late Llewellen and Mary Hoffman.

She is survived by her children: Lois Diane (Raymond Nickerson) Rolin, William Cecil (Carrie) Smith Jr., Linda Sue Smith and Joyce Whitebread; grandchildren: Kimberly Ann (Kevin) Douglas,  William C. Smith II, Keith Ryan Smith and Kyle Franklin (Yessica) Smith; great-grandchildren: Lily Grace Douglas, Cooper Ryan Smith and Camryn Jade Smith and sister, Jean Fetchko.
