Ernest Gabriel Theodore

January 21, 1965 – May 13, 2022

A TIME TO BE BORN:, Ernest Gabriel Theodore was born in Port-au-Prince Haiti on January 21, 1965 to the late Gabriel and Marguerite Theodore. Gabe’s primary years were spent in Haiti where he attended Saint Louis De Gonzague and Roger Anglade. Shortly thereafter at the age of 11 ,Gabe and his parents along with his sister Dominique moved to the United States and resided in Florida where they had Natacha. Gabe went to Westview and later graduated from North Miami Senior High School and thereafter attended Miami-Dade College.

A TIME TO LOVE: Gabe met Sandie, the love of his life, in 1984 and their long courtship resulted in holy matrimony on August 19, 1989. He and his wife Sandie aka his “Grimel” were inseparable. A beautiful love story admired by so many. He and San were blessed with their wonderful son Joshua. Gabe enjoyed spending time with his family, playing golf, watching and engaging in sports discussion and activities with his friends. He was loved by everyone who came in contact with him and was drawn by his intelligence, loyalty, zeal for life, humorous and affectionate nature. These are the many awe-inspiring things that we will truly miss. Gabe the patriarch was a beloved and devoted son, an amazing husband, an inspiring brother, an outstanding father, and faithful friend.

A TIME TO WORK: Gabe had an astounding work ethic that was a key instrument that led him to pursue his career as an independent contractor. He was known to be a tireless worker and a person you can always count on. He was a generous and fearless leader in his own right.

A TIME TO LEAVE: On Friday, May 13, 2022, Gabe was called home by our Lord. He will be greatly missed and will remain in our hearts. Although his absence has left a huge void, we hold on to the abundance of wonderful memories shared with him.

A TIME TO MOURN: Ernest Gabriel Theodore passed away at the age of 57 at Memorial West Hospital in Pembroke Pines, Florida. He is survived by his loving wife Sandra, his son Joshua, his sisters, Nadine Pierre, Maggie Brun and Natacha Theodore. He also leaves behind many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews, Goddaughters, Godsons, a host of extended family, and many friends. He will be happy to be reunited with his parents and his sister Dominique.

My heart is broken but God is sovereign. His will be done. He will never give us more than we can bear, He will never leave us not forsake us. Let’s trust His heart when we can trace His hands. Sandy and Josh, we are praying for you and the family.
