Lionel Jean Alphonse, age 67 of Hollywood, Florida, passed away July 6, 2022. He was born in Port Au Prince, Haiti on June 12, 1955 to the late Roger and Gertrude Alphonse.
He was also preceded in death by his siblings: Jean-Marie Roger Alphonse and Nady Jean Joseph Alphonse.
Lionel is survived by his wife of 39 years, Dilette Alphonse; children: Shauntel Jenkins-Jordan, Lionel Emmanuel Alphonse and Curtis Alphonse; grandchildren: Jalissa Joelle Jordan, Nyle Ty-Shaun Jordan, Sanai Jada Jordan, Rhyah Zorrah Alphonse and Curtis Emmanuel Alphonse II and siblings: Frantz Charles Alphonse, Mariella Gertrude Alphonse and Marie Judith Alphonse.
Visitation to be held on Friday, July 15, 2022 from 11:00 AM until Service at 12:00 PM at Cooper City Church of God, 9191 Stirling Road, Cooper City, Florida 33328.
Reception to follow at 2:00 PM at Glorious Banquet Hall, 6912 Stirling Road, Hollywood, Florida 33024.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his name to: Wounded Warriors, Donor Care Center, P.O. BOX 758518, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8518 or any veterans organizations of your choice.

Please accept my deepest sympathies with the passing of my dear friend and former employee brother Alphonse!
I was his principal at Pines Middle School and he taught Social Studies to our student. Mr. Alphonse made a positive difference in the lives of those students that were assign to him and the entire Pines family.
He will be missed… but only for a season! “Absent from this body but present with the Lord” (2 Cor. 5:8)
