Dolores A. Hoida
September 21, 1934 – October 28, 2022
Dolores A. Hoida, a loving mother and grandmother, of Dania Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully at the age of 88. She was born in Two Rivers, Wisconsin to the late Frank and Genevieve Kopetsky.
She married Robert Hoida on May 31, 1954 and raised her family in Michicot, Wisconsin. In 1995, she and her husband Bob retired to south Florida.
Family was of the utmost importance to her, and she was proud to take on the role of family matriarch. She traveled frequently to visit her son, Steve; daughters, Terri (Les) and Jenny (Jay); and grandchildren, Krista (Flip), Lauren, Caitlin, Steven, Jordan, and Drew. Her family and extended family including brother, nieces and nephews also traveled regularly to see her.
Dolores was very involved with her church and the local COPS program. She enjoyed baking, especially making her famous East End Bars, Peanut Butter Balls, and Christmas cookies with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Bob, and two brothers, William and Roland.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on November 12, 2022 at St. Maurice at Resurrection Catholic Church, 441 NE 2nd Street, Dania Beach, FL, 33004
