Tomas Ortiz Fuentes age 80 of Pembroke Pines, Florida passed away December 19, 2022. He was born in Orocovis, Puerto Rico on December 11, 1942 to the late Adolfo Ortiz and Nicolasa Fuentes.

He was also preceded in death by his son, Ruben Tomas Ortiz and his brother Gonzalo Ortiz.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Juana Colon Melendez; daughters: Zulma Noemi Lochard and her husband, Alexander Lochard and Lourdes Janet Ortiz; grandchildren: Joshua Alexander Lochard, Yentl Alexandra Lochard, Albert Alexander Lochard, Andrea Sofia Gomez and Dariana Ortiz; sisters: Margarita Ortiz, Luz Maria Ortiz, Ana Ortiz and Carmen Teresa Ortiz and brothers: Sixto Ortiiz, Domingo and Carlos Ortiz.
