Nivardo Nicomedes Diaz, age 89, passed away at his residence in Pembroke Pines, Florida surrounded by his family on December 25, 2022. He was born on September 15, 1933 in Havana, Cuba to the late Alejandro Diaz and Zoila Rivero.

He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Balbina Diaz and his sister, Zoila Diaz.

Nivardo is survived by his wife of over 30 years, Tania Diaz; children: Mayra (Alejandro) Martinez, Nivardo (Irma) Diaz, Jr., Antonio (Carmen) Toca and Jose (Maria Elena) Toca; step-daughter, Maite (Wade) Gesele; grandchildren: Javier Martinez, Nicole (Lino) Campos, Michelle (Roger) Fleites, Aaron Diaz, Matthew Diaz, Gabriel Diaz, Dayra Toca, Daina Toca, Joey Toca, Hannah Gesele and Owen Gesele; several great grandchildren and brother, Santiago Diaz.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM with Funeral Service at 10:00 AM at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, 1600 North University Drive, Pembroke Pines, Florida 33024.

Graveside Service will be on Saturday, December 31, 2022, 11:00 AM at Miami Memorial Park, 6200 SW 77th Avenue, Miami, Florida 33143.
