Carlos B. Santa Maria, 59, of Hollywood Florida, was welcomed into our Lord’s loving embrace on January 28th, 2023.

An avid outdoorsman, comedic genius, devoted catholic, doting father, and a dedicated friend. He left an overwhelming impact on all he knew and loved. He never spent a day in life where he did not make at least one person smile. His generosity and kindness knew no bounds.

He is predeceased by his mother Maria T. Zimmermann and his father Oscar B. Santa Maria, Sr.

Born on August 28th 1963, he resided all of his life in Broward County, FL. Raised by a strong, single mother. He attended Little Flower Catholic School and McArthur High School graduating in 1981. He married his High School sweetheart, Jade Naville in 1985 and loved her endlessly, until his final breath.

He was a nature enthusiast and thus spent all of his childhood and life with a passionate vigor for animals of all kinds. His greatest legacy are the friends he made, which are indelibly connected to one another, through generations. His ultimate pride and joy in life, were his three daughters.

He is survived by his daughters Sierra D. Santa Maria, Shannon M. Santa Maria, and Amber N. Gonzalez. Son-in-law William Gonzalez. Grandson Gotham R. Gonzalez. Siblings Jorge Lazcano, Diana Santa Maria, Diana’s husband Brian Sidella, and Oscar B. Santa Maria, Jr. Nieces and Nephews Nikolas Sidella, Alexander Sidella, Skyler G. Santa Maria, and Ryan J. Santa Maria. His Lifelong Best Friends and Pseudo Family Ralph J. Rossi, Christine D. Rossi, Ryan W. Rossi, Johanna L. Rossi, RJ Rossi, Megan E. Rossi, Jace C. Rossi, Payton R. Rossi, and Amelia G. Rossi.

There will be a viewing service held on Thursday, February 2nd, 2023 6-9 p.m. at Boyd-Panciera 1600 N University Dr, Pembroke Pines, FL 33024.

Funeral services will be held Friday, February 3rd, 2023 at 11 a.m. at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 7450 Stirling Rd, Hollywood, FL 33024.
