Frank Daniel Soar, age 93 of Hollywood, Florida, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Friday, March 24, 2023. He was a native Floridian, born to Miami pioneers, Francis Marion and Lavinia (Meeks) Soar on January 28, 1930.
He was pre-deceased by his wife of 51 years, Patricia Ann (Gibson) Soar.
He is survived by his 4 children: Susan Soar, Cheryl Paul (John), Laura Soar and Paul Soar (Nancy); 8 grandchildren: John Daniel Paul (Alissa), Cherie Kottar (Chris), Stephanie Centeno (Andy), Ashley Soar, Christie Soar, Jason Soar, Kimberly Soar and Bethany Soar; 5 great-grandchildren: Riley-Grace Paul, Jack Centeno, Emmy Paul, Charlotte Kottar and baby Centeno coming in June; sister, Edith Perrot (Luis) and many nieces and nephews.
Viewing to be held on Friday, March 31, 2023 from 6:30 PM until 8:30 PM with Tributes of a Lifetime Service at 7:30 PM at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, 1600 N. University Drive, Pembroke Pines, Florida 33024.
Funeral Service to be held on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at 10:00 AM at New Life Baptist Church of Davie, 2400 S. Pine Island Road, Davie, Florida 33324.
Graveside Service to follow at 12:30 PM at Southern Memorial Park, 15000 West Dixie Highway, North Miami, Florida 33181.
Services officiated by Pastor Mark Coleman.

All our deepest condolences to the Soar’s Family for the passing of Frank Soar , some one that I’ve met and immediately I were touched by his kindness and great hospitality. Surely he will be missed very much.

I’m just now reading this because I just thought about Frank today. 7-2-24. Our Searle family rented part of the property there on 52 and county line road for approximately 25 years or so. I’m sorry to just see his passing. We enjoyed Frank’s friendship and the thousands of hours talking to him out in the yard.
