Carl A. Pitt age 99 of Miramar, Florida, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on April 25, 2023. He was born in Spanish Town, Jamaica on July 28, 1923 to the late James and Evelyn Pitt.
He was also preceded in death by his brothers: Bonswell Pitt, Ashton Pitt, Bertie Pitt and Leon Pitt and sister, Marina Watt.
Carl is survived by his loving wife of 79 years, Winnifred M. Pitt; children: Vernon (Maureen Waldron) Pitt, Oliver Pitt and Verna Bailey; grandchildren: Vernon Pitt II, Shanda Pitt, Oliver Pitt, Jr., Tiffany Wilson, Kimberly Pitt, Michelle (Zachary) Rote and Jason (Tasia) Bailey; 18 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-granddaughters.
Visitation to be held on Thursday, May 4, 2023 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, with Prayer Service at 7:00 PM at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, 1600 N. University Drive, Pembroke Pines, Florida Florida 33024.
Funeral Mass to be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, May 5, 2023 at St. Monica Catholic Church, 3490 NW 191st Street, Miami Gardens, Florida 33056.
Graveside Service to follow at 12:00 PM at Hollywood Memorial Gardens East, 6301 Taft Street, Hollywood, Florida 33024.

Dearest Father “P”, yours was a life well lived. As we all mourn your passing, there is no doubt we will find great comfort as we continue to recall the many beautiful memories of you. Your toiling is ended here on earth. Enjoy your eternal rest with your Creator.

Barbara and I send our deepest condolences to the Pitt family.. We will miss Uncle Carl and his dance steps at the various birthday parties that we have attended.. May he rest in peace and may God continue to bless Aunt Bobby., the children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
