Lara Katzoff passed away on April 25, 2023. She was 48 years old. She is survived by her parents: James and Nancy Katzoff; her sister, Tanya Katzoff Bhatt, her nieces: Anna and Julia Bhatt, and many other family members who loved her.  She was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil and grew up in Brazil, England and the United States.

Lara was remarkably perceptive about people, deeply curious about life, and valued her family above all else.  Quick to laugh, Lara was fiercely loyal and generous, and had a passion for and deep affinity with animals of all types.

She will be missed.
