Maryann B. Flanagan,  83, of Pembroke Pines, Florida, passed away  on May 4th, 2023.  She was born on December 12, 1939 in New Haven, Connecticut to the late, Gilbert Bush and Francis Monaghan.

Maryann  moved to South Florida in 1977 where she enjoyed the beach, the weather and the Miami Dolphins.  Coming from New England she also was a Patriot fan. She was married to the late, Clifford B. Sturges, and later in life married the late, Mayor Charles W. Flanagan, who she met while working for the city she so much loved, Pembroke Pines.

She is predeceased by her children; Michael Sturges and Sharon Sturges. She is survived by son, William Sturges; brother, Thomas  Bush;  sister, Dorothy Makula; granddaughter, Amber Wnuck,; grandson , James Sturges  and great grandchildren; Christopher, Anthony and Joshua.

A visitation for Maryann is scheduled on Friday, May 12th, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm with a Prayer Service at 6:00 pm at Boyd-Panciera’s University Drive Chapel located at 1600 North University Drive, Pembroke Pines, Florida 33024. Cremation entrusted in the care of Boyd-Panciera.
