Betty J. Quasney age 95 of Hollywood, Florida, passed away Saturday, May 6, 2023. She was born on Friday, September 2nd, 1927.
She is survived by her daughters: Carol L. Price and her husband, Herb Price and Kathy Volpe; grandson, Jason Volpe and his wife, Dora Volpe; granddaughter, Krystal Volpe and her husband, Rey Sanchez; great-grandchildren: Felix Rodriguez, Austin Rodriguez, Samantha Pintado and Mila Volpe.

I was saddened to hear of your passing Mrs. Q. My thoughts and prayers are with your family as we reflect on our memories of you.
You were the common thread amongst many skating competitors and friends alike.
I have fond childhood memories of your visits to practices, rehearsals, fittings, and fund raisers. From sewing to stitching and beading you dressed and supported so many over the years. I hope you are enjoying a game of tennis now.

Betty truly was truly a beautiful light for all who knew her. She loved her daughters fiercely and supported their dreams. I have fond memories of her from my childhood and she hand made beautiful skating costumes for me. She would add a special touch and place a tag inside that said “made especially for you by Betty Q”. That tag and personal touch always made me feel so special. She was just simply lovely. I’m saddened to hear of her passing. Rest easy Mrs. Q. You will truly be missed and are so very loved.
