Katherine Theresa Wordell Rosiere passed away peacefully at home in Plantation, Florida, on June 21, 2023. Kathy, a Florida native, graduated from “Constance” North Miami Senior High in 1964 and moved to Plantation in 1979.
Our mother’s legacy extends far beyond her immediate family. She touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her warm heart and compassionate nature made her a friend to many, and her impact on those around her was immeasurable. She had a way of making everyone feel seen, heard, and valued. Her generosity knew no bounds, and she taught us the importance of giving selflessly to others. She found many opportunities to be of service and support her clients during her lifelong career as a hairstylist, which she continued until her passing.
She has returned home to her heavenly father and reunited with her loving husband of fifty-six years, Eugene Charles Rosiere III (Gene); parents Terry and Brownie; siblings Barbara and Lynden, and dog Buddy.
Kathy is survived by her three children, Gena Padron, Scott Rosiere, and Michele Rosiere; five grandchildren, Allie and Nick Padron, Jake Myers, and India and Hunter Rosiere; and her dog and best friend, Max.
Those who called her mom, grandma, Aunt Kathy, or simply friend, knew that if it was Sunday, dinner would be ready and on the table at 5:00 pm and that you were most welcome to join.
We remember her with love, admiration, and an indescribable sense of loss. Our mother, the matriarch of our family, has left us, but her spirit will forever reside within us. We will love and miss you for the rest of our days, but our hearts will always be a little more broken on Sundays.
Kathy’s life will be celebrated in a service at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Home on July 8, 2023 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM.

Kathy was such a good friend to me and many others. My heart is heavy for all the family. She was such a blessing to me in my younger days as a single man. I always felt at home there because of the love she and Gene exhibited by their actions. I remember the time they bought a 6′ sub to celebrate my birthday. Ray and Shirley Acuna came over, and there was Ray jr. and Rick Demico. It’s funny how you don’t forget unconditional kindness. She made people feel special. I will miss her It’s funny how you don’t forget unconditional kindness. She made people feel special. I miss her already. And I have been blessed to know her 3 children whom I love. Kathy, I will see you in heaven one day but hopefully not to soon.
I built a room for Kathy’s mom in their home and later had the privilege to speak at her mom’s funeral. I just saw a picture from my wedding and Gene, Kathy, Gina, and Glenn were there to celebrate with Donna and I. Many great memories stay in my mind of this loved family. Thank you for being a friend.!
