He is survived by his wife, Diane; sister, Kathie McNaughton and brother, Jack Bateman. Born in Muncie, Indiana and relocated to Florida and worked in the air conditioning & refrigeration industry with Tropic Supply.

Jay was an avid sports enthusiast who loved playing golf. Football, Basketball, Baseball and Horse Racing, he loved it all!

A quiet, content homebody, he will be surely missed by his loving family and friends.
