Janet Lynn Cinnante, age 50, of Boca Raton, Florida, passed away on the evening of August 25th, 2023. Janet was born in Smithtown, New York on December 17th, 1972, passing after a long courageous battle for her life as a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and niece. With her husband Pete by her side, Janet’s family was always her motivation to stay the course., raising her two children, son Aidan(16) and daughter Avery (12).
Janet is survived by loving husband of 23 years, Peter Cinnante, son Aidan, daughter Avery, Father Andrew Ruggiano, brother Andrew Ruggiano, sister Christine McMahon and predeceased by her mother, Christine Ruggiano. Those who knew her were touched by her gentle spirit, kindness toward all, and angelic nature. She will be missed but always embraced with the love in our hearts for the Angel she was.
There will be a Celebration of Life on Sunday, September 24th, 2023 at 4:00 PM at Victory Church, 3499 NW Boca Raton Boulevard, Boca Raton, Florida 33431.
In lieu of flowers, her family suggests donations be made in her memory to:

I’m so sorry to hear of Janet’s passing. I worked for her years ago at At Your Fingertips in Margate and she was a true friend and mentor. When I heard the news, memories of those crazy years came flooding back. She was a kind, smart, talented, quiet, and caring woman who supported those who worked for her. She guided and mentored me. And she was a friend. Pete, not sure if you remember me, but I still tell stories of you screwing up lyrics of early 2000’s rap songs. Lol. She loved you so much! I met Janet through my son and her son Aidan. My son was new at Coral Springs Christian school. Janet was warm and welcoming. And made my son feel welcomed. We would watch the boys play baseball at school when they were little and she was such a loving and sweet mother. This hit very hard for my son Malakai and myself. You will no longer suffer and may you join the Lord our savior Janet.

We are completely devastated and heartbroken at the news of Janet’s passing. Our son Ben was best friends with Aidan at CSCA from Kindergarten through 5th grade, until the school closed. I remember like it was yesterday, going to Barnes and Noble with Janet and our kids after school, so the boys could play with the Thomas the Train table, or talking to Janet every morning at drop off, the birthday parties, and making her laugh. She was so sweet, kind and soft spoken. I will never forget her. God bless you, Pete, Aidan, and Avery. We love you guys.
