Winston James also known as “Snapper” was born in Pointe in the country of Antigua on March 1st, 1944. Winston formally resided in Sutherland Development, St. John’s Antigua and last resided in the Bronx, New York and Vero Beach, Florida.
Winston was the son of the late Martha James and Franky James. He leaves to mourn his death his daughter Sylvia James-Knight, her husband Trevor Knight and their children, Tenika, Shanek, Zekiya and Khiah. Great grandchildren E’lori and Meadow. His son Paul Phillips and wife Tenisha and their children. His stepchildren Geraldine Austin (Pinkie) and family, Owen McCleary and family and Dr. Patrice Brown. His siblings Joycelyn James and family, Rupert James and his wife Joyce James and family. The late Hyacinth Joseph and her children. He also leaves to mourn the late Gweneth James and family. Along with his loving partner Celest Williams whom he’s spend many years.
The late Winston James better known as “Snapper” has too many family and friends too numerous to be mentioned.
The family will receive friends from 12:00pm-1:00pm followed by Home Going Service at 1:00pm on Saturday January 20th, 2024, at Church of God in Gifford, FL.
