Marvin Rafael Valoy, 63, of Pembroke Pines, Florida, passed away in his home on Friday, January 19, 2024.
Marvin was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic on May 17, 1960, to Angela De La Rosa and Roberto Rafael Valoy.
He rejoiced in spending time at the beach listening to his favorite music from Fernando Villalona, Luis Miguel, Juan Luis Guerra, and so much more. He was one of Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant’s biggest fans. He loved bringing home movies to watch with his kids every week and taking them on family vacations.
Marvin is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Nikki, his children Joshua, Karl, Liza, and Vanessa, his four granddaughters including Maya and Valerie, his five brothers and two sisters, and his many nieces and nephews. He will be deeply missed by his loving family, best friends Lino and Dan Jury, and all who knew him.
Marvin will be remembered for dedicating his life to his family and for being a phenomenal father. He was the definition of a family man. As well, he was an amazing friend. Anything anyone asked him for, he always found a way to help by not just providing what they needed, but being there for them in the most sincere and genuine way he could be.
Funeral Service will be held on Monday, January 29, 2024 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, University Drive Chapel.
