Joseph Elliot Jurgrau, 84, husband, father, mentor, and friend; passed away
peacefully on the morning of Thursday, January 18, 2024 in his home,
surrounded by his loved ones.

Born in 1939 in the Bronx, New York to Annie and Milton Jurgrau, Joseph grew
up with siblings Eddie and Shirley, and moved to Miami, FL at age 14 to begin his
career as a mechanic. Later, his career ambitions shifted to become a successful
electrician. He met his soulmate Jackie Jurgrau, and began his life with her, to
have three children, Michael, Mark, and Matthew. Always leading by example,
the family was the center of their universe.

Joseph was preceded in death by his son, Mark Jurgrau, siblings Shirley Deber
and Edward Jurgrau, and his parents. Joseph is survived by his loving wife and
soulmate of 67 years, Jackie Jurgrau, and their children, Michael and Matthew
Jurgrau. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Jordan, Jessica, Megan, Brian,
Taylor, Kalie, and great-grandchildren: Chloe, Joey, Ella, and Aiden.
