Eric James Barbaglia was born on February 21, 1978, in Miami, Florida.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Ellen Barbaglia, and is survived by his father and step-mother, Thomas and Lourdes Barbaglia, as well as his siblings, Terri Sierra, Jessica Hoppe, and Robert Hoppe.

Eric graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas and Florida Atlantic University, where he pursued a career in IT Management.

He will be fondly remembered for his kindness and the joy he brought to his family, friends, and his beloved 2-year-old lab, Cooper.

We will all deeply miss him.

The family will be receiving friends on Friday, May 10th, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, University Drive Chapel. A service will commence at 6:00 PM. Following the service, a repast will be held at The Barbaglia residence, located at 6441 Falcons Gate Avenue, Davie, FL 33331.
