Antonio Rodriguez, a beloved member of the Davie, Florida community, peacefully passed away on May 11th, 2024, at the age of 77. Born on September 28, 1946, in Santiago, Cuba, Antonio was the son of the late Luis R. Rodriguez and Edna Gomez.
In 1960, Antonio made his way to South Florida, where he found solace and joy in the beauty of the beach, the tranquility of fishing, and the timeless elegance of classic cars. Among his many passions, Antonio had a profound love for embarking on cruises and showering affection upon all animals, particularly his beloved dogs.
Antonio is reunited in eternity with his brother, Luis Rodriguez, and his sisters, Hope Castillo and Edna Pages. He is survived by his devoted wife, Diana, and his children: Antonio Rodriguez Jr. and his wife Sandra, Mayte Aponte and her husband Hector, Luis Rodriguez and his wife Emely, and Jonathan Rodriguez. He is also survived by his sisters, Ana Raventos and Olga Rodriguez, as well as his cherished grandchildren, Anthony, Alex, Ayden, and Brody, and a host of nieces and nephews.
May Antonio’s memory continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
Family and friends are invited to honor Antonio’s life and legacy at a gathering on Thursday, May 16th, 2024, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with a Tributes of a Lifetime Service commencing at 7:00 pm, at Boyd-Panciera University Drive Chapel, located at 1600 N. University Drive, Pembroke Pines, FL 33024.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 17th, 2024, at 11:00 am at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 7450 Stirling Road, Hollywood, FL 33024. Following the Mass, cremation services will be conducted under the compassionate care of Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care.
