Linford E. Manning
December 26, 1947 – June 25, 2024
Linford was a man of unwavering faith and deep love for the Lord, touching the hearts of everyone who knew him. His kind spirit, wisdom, and devotion will be greatly missed.

Linford E. Manning, 76, was born on December 26, 1947, in Kingston, Jamaica. He was the youngest of six children born to Clarence and Doris Manning. Linford attended primary school in Kingston, where he began a life marked by diverse achievements and a deep love for his faith. Throughout his life, Linford found success in many fields. He was a skilled carpenter, a dedicated dental assistant, a talented musician, and a reliable building maintenance technician. As a musician, Linford was a member of the group “Abyssinians,” which topped the Jamaican charts for many weeks with their hit song “Satta Massa Gana.” His music brought joy to many, and he traveled the world sharing his talent.

Linford’s integrity, love for Jesus Christ, and unwavering faith were evident to all who knew him. He was a man of character, always greeting others with a contagious smile and an encouraging word. He frequently shared inspirational scriptures and daily prayers, touching the lives of many. Linford Manning is survived by his devoted wife, Maxine A. Manning; his son, Michael Manning; his daughter, Michelle Solomon; his grandson, Demetrius Solomon; his granddaughters, Demya and Demia Solomon; his daughter in Law, Pamela Manning, and her children, Aron, and Alycia Archibald, and Ian Samuels. He is also survived by his brothers, Donald Manning and Carlton Manning; his sister, Valerie Ward; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

We will celebrate Linford’s life and legacy at the following services:

A Visitation is to be held on July 19th at 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, 1600 N. University Drive, Pembroke Pines, Florida 33024 with a Tributes of a Lifetime service starting at 7:00 PM.

There will be a church service on July 20th at 10:00 AM at Words of Life Fellowship Church, 20051 NE 16th Place, North Miami Beach, Florida 33179.

A Burial Service will take place after the church service at Forest Lawn Cemetery, 2401 SW 6th Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33317.

A Repass will take place afterwards at Tropical Paradise Banquet and Conference Center, 2440 W State Rd 84, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33312.
