Dear Mary and family,
David and I are saddened by passing of Tom (“Garland” to those of us who went to high school with him). He will no doubt be remembered in many ways by many people. I will always remember him as a good student, a good man, who had a great sense of humor and who served his country well in many capacities. We are fortunate to have known him.

Dear Uncle Tom,

You spent your life protecting others. We will miss you and grieve your loss every day. Though our hearts are filled with sorrow, I can’t help but smile knowing God celebrated your first day in Heaven with an all you can eat taco bar : D

Until we meet again, much love, Nancy

At Cohn High School and in Troop 58 we knew him as “Garland,” a brilliant student and fine Boy Scout leader and Explorer. Many thanks for his service to his country and his community. God bless the family and his friends and associates at this sad time.
