YORK, Mary Lou (née Miscevic), age 82, of Miami Gardens, passed away on September 16, 2024. She was born in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania, on October 24, 1941.

Mary Lou was a woman of incredible strength and determination. Independent and proud, she embraced life as an adventurous explorer, traveling to Kuwait, Europe, Honduras, and many other countries and states. Remarkably, she completed a 5K run at the age of 81, showcasing her spirited nature.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee York. Mary Lou is survived by her daughters, Cindy Loth and Suzanne York-Calix (Carlos Calix); grandchildren Nicole Aragona (Irakli Chikadze), Bruce Aragona, Amanda Aragona, Jordan Loth, Crystal Cabrera (Mario Cabrera), Kyro York, David Calix (Haley Calix), and her beloved great-grandchild, Georgina Chikadze.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 29, 2024, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, University Drive Chapel. A Tributes of a Lifetime Service will begin at 4:00 PM.
