Kathy Michele Wallace (Hall), 47, passed away on February 19, 2025, in Cooper City, Florida. Born on January 24, 1978, in Hollywood, Florida. Kathy lived a life filled with love, kindness, and unwavering strength.
A proud graduate of Cooper City High School, Kathy pursued her education at Florida State University earning a degree in Sociology. She dedicated much of her career at Pioneer Middle School, starting as an office clerk and later becoming an attendance clerk. She was honored as Employee of the Year in September 2021-a testament to her hardworking, generosity, and love by the staff and teachers. She always had a warm smile and a bowl of candy for the students. Kathy always went above and beyond to lend a helping hand wherever it was needed.
Kathy’s greatest joy in her life was her family and her friends. She shared a deep and loving bond with her husband, Robert Wallace , and cherished their time together. She loved and adored her daughter, Lily Waller. Her parents, Donald and Sarah Hall, provided unwavering love and support throughout her life. She shared a close and special relationship with her sisters, Mary Lemos and Julie Castagna; brother in law Steven Lemos and Alberto Castagna; nieces and nephews, Alex Lemos, Nicole “Nikki” Lemos, Noah Castagna, Dominic Castagna, Samantha Schauer, great niece Gianna , and great nephew Trey. She also held a special place in her heart for her stepdaughters Stacie and Tiffanie, along with Stacie’s wife Erin, and step grandson Zackary.
Kathy always said the beach was her happy place and enjoyed sharing countless moments there with her loved ones – it brought her comfort, peace and joy. She spent countless days with her feet in the sand and an umbrella above just listening to the waves, smelling the fresh sea breeze, and enjoying the beautiful ocean.
She also had an immense love for dogs-especially her beloved dog Lola -who was always by her side even in her last moments.
Kathy will be remembered for her kind heart, sweet nature, fun-loving spirit and fierce determination, she faced every challenge with remarkable strength. No matter what obstacles came her way, she remained resilient-a true fighter until the very end. With a smile always on her face and love in her heart, she never missed an opportunity to express love and gratitude to those who cared for her. Her generosity touched so many lives whether through small acts of kindness or grand gestures of love -and she leaves a legacy of warmth and love that will never be forgotten.
May Kathy’s memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her.

I had the privilege of meeting Kathy at work, and our friendship grew quickly. She always had the sweetest way of seeing the good in people, which is why she lovingly nicknamed me “Angel.”, although in reality, she truly was the angel in our friendship. I will always cherish the countless hours we spent talking, sharing texts, playing iMessage games, our detective work, and discussing politics. Kathy, you will forever hold a special place in my heart as my dear friend. I love you, girlie! XOXO
My heartfelt condolences go out to Kathy’s family. You are all in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Rob and Lilly,
Your Mom loved you both so much. She was always talking about both of you whenever she could. She will never be far away as she’s promised to watch over both of you from the stars.
